Habitat for Humanity is a partnership. The houses are not given for free. Partners must be able to pay zero interest mortgage payments and provide "sweat equity hours" during construction. Habitat has a partnership process to make sure we are helping those in need. Applications are screened based on need, income, credit and a willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity. Due to being a small affiliate, we do not renovate and build on property not already owned by Habitat for Humanity of White County, Arkansas.
